Lizzy’s Lodge takes in dogs in need from a variety of locations including shelters, owners, and vet offices or boarding kennels when dogs have been abandoned.
Most dogs in our care have individual medical and emotional needs upon arrival. We work with each dog to first address any medical needs which often include respiratory or other infections, dietary and gastro-intestinal disruptions, or skin and coat issues.
When emotional problems arise, we give dogs the time to heal and to feel safe again. When Lizzy’s Lodge dogs go to new homes, they are healthy and ready for new adventures and lots of love.
