Home/From Our Adopters/Milo’s New Home

Looks like Milo, now Sherman, may be a Jackmatian—Jack Russell and Dalmatian. He certainly looks like it. Who knew?

His new family says: “This dog is like no other dog I've ever had, and I've had dogs all of my life! He goes along with anything and everything and is always a gentleman—he truly loves everyone and everything he meets, and everyone loves him. We take him everywhere—bank drive-thrus, errands, lakes, etc. He is very loved and a joy. He seems like a big dog to us after having a dog with 3-inch legs for so many years, but we encountered a man with two labs yesterday on our walk, and he looked like a little peanut next to them. He has the late-night routine down. He knows by midnight the raccoons have come and eaten their snacks in the yard and wants to go out to hunt them—of course they have already left or are up in the trees watching him jump around like a fool. He is starting to play with toys now, and he loves the puzzles. He does not care about thunder or even going out in the rain. We’ll see how he feels about baths before too long.”
