We’re very excited to introduce the new Lizzy’s Lodge website.  We’re finally able to share more of our mission to help dogs in our community that are in danger or simply in need, especially the ones that no one wants. Our website includes information about how we do what we do, what we think about our rescue work, and of course, lots of pictures of dogs currently looking for homes, dogs who’ve found new families, and some dogs who especially need us. Please feel free to contact us if you have questions or want more information about Lizzy’s Lodge. If you want to help us with our rescue mission, just get in touch. We’d love to talk with you.

For our friends in the Silver Spring area, Giant Food is helping Lizzy’s Lodge with their Community Bag Program. If you shop in the Giant store at 1280 East-West Highway in downtown Silver Spring and purchase a reusable bag, Lizzy’s will receive $1 for every reusable grocery bag sold during January 2026. So if Silver Spring is convenient for you, help us by shopping at that Silver Spring Giant and get new reusable bags for the new year.

Happy Holidays from all of us at Lizzy’s Lodge. Enjoy a few holiday photos of our own dogs, some Lizzy’s dogs—current and adopted—and one we hold in our hearts.
